Welcome
to Marketing Updates! During the 2007 Turner
Padget Retreat, I received feedback from some attorneys that they
would like to know more about what marketing does, projects and
accomplishments. I am happy to share that with anyone
interested in how marketing adds value to the firm. The marketing
update page will be set-up similar to a Blog. What is a
blog, 75 percent of you are asking? A Blog is a
journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public
consumption. Blogs generally represent the personality of the
author or the Web site. An example of a blog that I visit is
the Insurance Defense Blog. Click

This web page will be set up in different sections as my projects
evolve. I will also have my daily list of "to-dos" and "dones"
so that you can see how I spend my day within Turner Padget.

desire, but the information will be there for your use. Of

Please keep in mind that the public relations and
advertising for Myrtle Beach will not start until we are
in our new space.
Greenville
Marketing and Public Relations.
Marketing is interviewing marketing and
public relations firms in Greenville to assist with the
efforts to grow the firm's name recognition and
experience in the Greenville market. Two firms
have been interviewed thus far. You may view their

interview, marketing with work with Greenville
management to determine the next steps.
e-Recruiting Brochure.
The recruiting
committee and marketing met to discuss recruiting's needs from a
marketing perspective. Recruiting and marketing will be
designing an e-brochure to send out via email to prospective
recruits to the firm. In an effort to maintain contact with
individuals the firm is interested in bringing aboard, after the
initial interview has taken place at a school site, the recruiting
committee will respond to the recruits within a couple of days with
a "Thank-you" email and the e-Recruiting brochure. The
recruiting committee will also begin sending emails regarding our
events for our recruits, testimonials and other items of interest.
Marketing and recruiting will meet again next week to define the
content for the brochure. Atlanta
