Padget is pleased to announce that Elaine H. Fowler, a shareholder
of the firm, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the
South Carolina Bar Foundation Board of Directors. Ms. Fowler
previously served on the Foundation Board while serving as
President-Elect and President of the South Carolina Bar. She was the
first woman to serve as Chair of the House of Delegates of the South
Carolina Bar and subsequently at every office, including President,
of the association. Last year Ms. Fowler was awarded the
Platinum Level Compleat Lawyer Award.
Ms. Fowler is a resident in the Charleston office and is a member
of the firm’s Business Transactions Group. In addition to devoting
much time to her legal career, she is committed to service in her
community and serves as a member of the Sullivan’s Island Planning
Commission.
