COLUMBIA, S.C., July, 2009 -
Turner Padget is proud to announce that Donnell G. Jennings,
shareholder in the Columbia office, has been named to the newly
formed General Liability Council (GLC) of United Educators. He will
serve a three-year term. The Council will provide expertise on
general liability legal issues unique to education. The Council
will address current topics affecting education, including suicide,
campus security issues, sexual assaults, catastrophic injuries and
insurance coverage. Mr. Jennings is a member of the firm’s
Litigation Group.

colleges, universities, independent schools, public school
districts, public school insurance pools, and related organizations
throughout the United States.
UE was
created in the mid-1980s, when the National Association of College
and University Business Officers task force proposed formation of a
company owned and operated by colleges and universities.
