General Biography
Shannon practices in torts and insurance and appellate law. She graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2002.

While in school, she was an Associate Articles Editor for the South Carolina Law Review and  member of the Order of the Wig and Robe and Trial Competition Team.

Shannon has defended numerous cases involving personal injury, bad faith litigation, property damage and general torts. She has also been involved in drafting motions and briefs for appeal. Shannon joined the firm in 2004, after clerking with Justice Costa M. Pleicones on the South Carolina Supreme Court . She also taught Legal Writing at the USC School of Law as an Adjunct Professor. Shannon is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts. Since 2008, Shannon has served as an associate member of the Board of Law Examiners by Supreme Court appointment. She currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Nelson Mullins Center for Professionalism operated by the University of South Carolina School of Law.
