General Biography
R. Gerald Chambers, Jr. graduated from Wofford College in 1986
with a B.A. in history and government. Upon graduation,
Gerald was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the
U. S. Army, Air Defense Artillery and served on active duty
until 1993. He graduated from Wake Forest School of Law in
1996 and was admitted to the South Carolina Bar the same
year.
Gerald is a shareholder on the Professional Liability
Team concentrating in the defense of medical malpractice,
long term care litigation and legal malpractice. He also
focuses his practice in representing the interests of
product manufacturers and designers in litigation involving
product liability, medical device and pharmaceutical
litigation. Gerald is the Practice Group Leader of the
firm’s Specialty Litigation Group.
Gerald is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.
S. Army Reserves in the Judge Advocate General Corp. where
he serves as the Command Judge Advocate for the 207th
Regional Support Group.
