Anne Ross Culbreath
Anne began her legal career in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Working as an associate at a small firm in a small town provided her with the opportunity to practice in a wide variety of fields, as well as the opportunity to try cases before a jury.
A “Greenville Girl”, Anne returned to the Upstate in 2000. Before joining Turner Padget in 2007, Anne furthered her litigation skills by defending medical professionals in negligence suits. She also served as a litigator for long term care facilities, transportation companies, governmental agencies, and businesses. In addition, she worked as a solicitor prosecuting state crimes.
From 2009 to May of 2011, Anne served as an Instructor and Assistant Professor at a local college. She taught law and litigation classes to students wanting to become paralegals. Her students, in evaluating her performance, described her as “wonderful”, “tough but fair”, and “the best instructor at [the college].” While Anne thoroughly enjoyed teaching, she realized she needed to return to what she loved: the practice of law.
When not working, Anne loves spending time with her husband and children. They enjoy hiking, water sports, and cheering for the Clemson Tigers. Anne is an active member of Advent United Methodist Church; she coaches basketball and volunteers for multiple mission opportunities. She and her husband are also licensed foster parents.
