Charles F. Moore
Charlie Moore began working at Turner Padget as a summer associate during law school, and joined the firm immediately following graduation. Prior to attending the University of South Carolina School of Law, he spent nearly four years working as a corporate banker for Branch Banking & Trust. Charlie currently has a general litigation practice, with a concentration on civil insurance defense. Charlie’s client base is largely comprised of insurance carriers and private businesses with liability defense needs. He enjoys aggressively getting involved in cases and appearing in the courtroom. Charlie has vast trial experience statewide, and has tried many cases involving private clients as well as institutional clients. He has brought numerous cases to jury verdicts and has also enjoyed successful appeals.
Charlie has lived his entire life in South Carolina and loves all areas of the state. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors and is an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoor chef. Charlie also enjoys the social aspects of his legal practice, and is a former chair of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Richland County Bar Association.

Representative Matters
Defended a driver who admitted to causing an automobile accident at an intersection in Columbia, S.C. The plaintiff had approximately $41,000 in undisputed medical expenses directly related to injuries sustained as a result of the accident. The case was tried to a Richland County jury for three days and resulted in a verdict of only $45,000. The plaintiff’s last demand was $225,000 immediately prior to trial.
