David C. Marshall
David Marshall’s practice focuses primarily on product liability and other complex litigation involving automotive, motorcycle and truck products, heavy equipment and machinery, construction defects, and trucking and transportation. He also handles matters involving automotive and commercial insurance coverage for claims for personal injury, wrongful death and/or property damage.David typically works with a team of lawyers and paralegals for corporate clients defending major cases across South Carolina. From the filing of the lawsuit through fact investigation, discovery, trial preparation and trial, David works diligently and efficiently to uncover and present the pertinent facts and critical legal issues to obtain the most favorable results for his clients.
As local counsel for several product manufacturers, David works with lawyers and experts across the country and has a vast network of relationships that tie him throughout South Carolina and beyond. David demonstrates a reasonable and practical approach to cases requiring less investigation to provide his clients with a reliable and comprehensive – yet cost-efficient – defense. Overall, David strives to discover each client’s individual goals in litigation, and aims to provide satisfactory results within the client’s expectations.
Although David was born in Columbia, S.C., he grew up in Greenwood, S.C., where he still maintains strong ties with the local community. Away from work, David enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, offshore fishing and attending University of South Carolina sporting events.
