J. Jakob Kennedy
Jake Kennedy focuses his practice on direct representation of businesses and individuals. His experience includes defense of local, regional and national healthcare providers, employers, and other professionals in the state and federal courts of South Carolina and Georgia. He has prepared and presented seminars to clients on statutory compliance and case law developments, including deposition techniques, expert witness strategies, electronic discovery, employee leave and medical malpractice tort reform. Jake, a native of Kentucky, is a member of the Kentucky Colonels. Since moving to Florence, S.C. in 2005, he has served as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and is a member of the local United Way board.
