T. Hudson Williams

Hudson's practice is primarily in the commercial real estate area, with a particular focus on financing, development and leasing.  He represents clients on all sides of the transaction including lenders, developers, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants.  He advises developers and boards of directors of private clubs and community associations on governance and operational matters.  Hudson helps South Carolina business owners plan and form businesses and gives practical advice as to the type of entity that will appropriately meet their particular needs and goals.

Hudson grew up in South Carolina and has called Columbia home since he began law school at the University of South Carolina.  Outside of the office, Hudson enjoys spending time with his family and doing all things outdoors.

“It is sometimes difficult for lawyers to remember that a legal analysis of an issue provides only part of the answer; real solutions require a practical analysis as well. I always try to be mindful of both perspectives when analyzing an issue and advising a client.”
