General Biography
Vernon is a resident of the Greenville office and serves as its managing shareholder.
He concentrates his practice in the areas of Commercial Business Litigation, Complex Torts Litigation and Employment Law.
Vernon is a member of the American Bar Association Litigation Section. He serves as
co-chairman of the Business Torts Committee. Vernon is also a member of the American Bar Association Business Law Section.
He is a past member of the Defense Research Institute Employment Law Section, and he is a current member of the South Carolina Bar’s Employment Law Section.
Vernon served as a Bar Examiner in the areas of Corporations, Agency and Partnership; and State and Federal Practice at the request of the South Carolina Supreme Court from 1995 through 2001.
He served as law clerk to the Honorable Ernest A. Finney, Jr., Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court. He was appointed to the South Carolina Worker’s Compensation Commission and served as Chairman from 1994 through 1995.
