Emily Jordan's practice is focused on both business and probate litigation, as well as probate administration. Her practice includes representation of large corporations, small businesses and individuals. Emily has experience in a wide range of probate and estate planning matters including; wills, trusts, probate and trust administrations, and representation of heirs and personal representatives. She has also had the unique opportunity to work on cases requiring the probate of international assets.
Emily practiced at an estate planning and probate law firm in Charleston, South Carolina prior to joining Turner Padget's Florence office. With her experience in estate planning and probate, Emily understands the importance of approaching each matter with the ability to the understand the whole picture, while linking the many parts of a situation to achieve a successful outcome.
Emily graduated cum laude from the College of Charleston in 2012 with degrees in both Communications and Political Science. In 2014 she received her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Emily was Executive Editor of Resolved, the school's journal of alternative dispute resolution. She was a student member of the James L. Petigru American Inn of Court and earned honors for her academic performance, including the CALI Award for Trial Advocacy.
Emily and her husband live in Dillon, SC. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and traveling. Emily is active in her local community where she is a member of the Jr. Charity League of Dillon, Florence West Rotary and is on the Board of Directors’ for The Pregnancy Center of Dillon County.
