Prior to joining Turner Padget’s Myrtle Beach office, Julie worked at an accounting firm in Myrtle Beach, S.C. During law school, Julie worked for law firms that practiced primarily in tax law and estate planning. From these experiences Julie decided to pursue a career in this area of law. She continued her education at Georgetown University Law Center where she received her LL.M. in Taxation. While attending Georgetown, she interned with the Honorable Joseph Nega at the United States Tax Court. Working in the United States Tax court allowed Julie to gain a deeper insight into the practice of tax law and provided an opportunity to further develop her legal research and writing skills.
