Marshall Minton's practice is focused in the area of estate planning, probate administration, and probate litigation. Marshall received her Bachelor's degree from Clemson University, cum laude in 2007, where she majored in Financial Management with an emphasis in financial planning and a minor in Accounting and Legal Studies. Marshall attended law school at the University of South Carolina, where she graduated cum laude in 2010. During law school, Marshall served as a peer mentor, Student Bar Association Legislative Council member, Class Gift committee member, and Research Editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Journal. Marshall clerked with both Turner Padget and Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd during law school. Marshall also received her LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Prior to joining Turner Padget, Marshall worked as Counsel for Litigation for the South Carolina Department of Revenue where she gained litigation experience in tax and regulatory matters in front of the Administrative Law Court, Circuit Court, and the South Carolina Supreme Court.
Marshall grew up in Florence, South Carolina, but now calls Columbia home. She is a graduate of the Leadership Columbia Class of 2013 and is an active member of the Junior League of Columbia, the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, the South Carolina Young Lawyers Division and Trenholm Road United Methodist Church.
