Focusing on prosecuting business torts and defending employers, Taylor is serious about representing business.

Taylor has taken on private equity groups and pharmaceutical companies on behalf of small business and recouped money and other resources for big business when their vendors or employees made the mistake of thinking no one was watching.  Simply stated, Taylor enjoys unwinding shady deals and exposing their makers.

Knowing that no good deed of a business owner goes unpunished, Taylor also takes pride in representing employers in state and federal court.  Taylor has successfully handled sexual harassment, retaliation, discrimination, and wage and hour claims and has represented businesses accused of violating consumer protection and handicap accessibility laws.  In state court, Taylor has defended corporate officers and directors from their own constituents in shareholder oppression and derivative actions.

Taylor believes the best intellectual capital comes from diversity and has endeavored to support this philosophy with a vibrant immigration practice.  Taylor has successfully represented applicants and family members in green card applications and nonimmigrant visas categories, including: investors (E), skilled workers (H1-B), intra-company transfers (L), clergymen (R), and witness protection (U).

Outside of work, Taylor is passionate about his wife, two sons, and music.  Taylor formerly enjoyed a second career as a musician, which took him throughout the southeast playing clubs and supporting charities.  Taylor currently serves impoverished families in South Carolina as a member of the Advisory Board of the Harvest Hope Food Bank.
