General Biography
Duvall served as law clerk to the Honorable Clement F. Haynsworth, Chief Judge for the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Thereafter, Duvall joined Turner Padget in 1971. He has focused his practice primarily in the area of construction and commercial dispute resolution. Construction matters include a wide variety of projects, including buildings, highways and utilities. His clients include bonding companies, contractors, sub-contractors, and developers. A significant portion of his practice has also included resolution of banking related disputes, particularly fidelity and fraud matters. It is in this context, as well as others, that he has been involved with officers and director’s liability issues and litigation.
