Andrew Kunz Recognized by S. C. Bar Young Lawyers

Andrew Kunz was recognized as a Star of the Quarter in the June 2012 South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division publication for his work with Special Olympics. He recruited and organized South Carolina Bar volunteers for the statewide South Carolina Summer Games held at Fort Jackson in May. Andy’s volunteers worked with the bowling event in which nearly 75 Special Olympic athletes participated. Participants and volunteers had a wonderful time.YLD’s Stars of the Quarter exemplify the ideals of the division by going above and beyond the call of duty.
Special Olympics was founded in 1968 on the ideal that through the power of sport, a better world is created by fostering the acceptance and inclusion of all people. The mission of the organization is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. These activities provide opportunities for the athletes to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and share gifts, skills and friendships with others.
