Feb 12, 2010
Joshua Shaw, an attorney in our Columbia office, recently authored an article in the Business & Economic Review, published by the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business (April-May-June 2009 issue), on the subject of Civil Liability and Economic Development. In his article, Josh addresses the question "Does a recent South Carolina Supreme Court decision potentially impact the state's ability to attract businesses?” In addition, the Construction Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association published another article authored by Shaw, “Recent Developments with the ʹRisk of Harmʹ Exception to the Economic-Loss Rule,” in the Spring 2010 issue of their newsletter, Construct!.
