Ott Elected Secretary of SCDTAA

At the Annual Meeting of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, Curtis L. Ott, a shareholder with the firm of Turner Padget Graham & Laney, P.A., was elected to serve as Secretary of the Executive Committee. Curtis has served on the Executive Committee since 2003 and has been Chair of the Annual Meeting and Trial Academy.
Curtis is a resident in the Columbia office and practices in the areas of product liability, personal injury, trucking litigation and appellate matters. He is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, Trucking Industry Defense Association and the South Carolina Trucking Association. Curtis has been recognized by the Best Lawyers in America in the areas of commercial litigation and product liability since 2009. In addition he has been named as a South Carolina Super Lawyer in the area of product liability since 2008.
The purpose of the SCDTAA is to promote justice, professionalism and integrity in the civil justice system by bringing together attorneys dedicated to the defense of civil actions.
