Sammataro Elected

Sam Sammataro has been sworn in as the President of the South Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

The South Carolina Chapter has grown in recent years to over 300 members from across South Carolina, and its members come from a wide array of practice areas, including private civil and criminal practice, governmental agencies, military branches, local law schools, and the United States District and bankruptcy courts. The Chapter is committed to serving as the liaison among federal lawyers and the judiciary, providing high quality continuing legal education credits at no charge to its members, and hosting an array of meetings and receptions fostering informal interaction among the bench and bar.

The mission of the Federal Bar Association is to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and the needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary and the public they serve.
