Shawn R. Willis has been appointed to the Charleston County Board of Assessment Appeals for a term ending June 20, 2015. The Board of Assessment Appeals is a fifteen-member board appointed by the Charleston County Council which performs a quasi-judicial function by rendering impartial decisions on disputes between property owners and the Charleston County Tax Assessor concerning property valuation and assessment issues.
