Mr. Shuler is a shareholder in the Columbia office and concentrates his practice in employment and labor law. He has been a certified mediator in South Carolina state and federal courts since 1999. Frank has been named to the Best Lawyers in America in Employment Law since 2004, Best Lawyers in America in Alternative Dispute since 2008 and named to the South Carolina Super Lawyers in Employment Law since 2008.
The Advisory Board prescribes standards and procedures for certification, recertification, and decertification as a specialist in employment and labor law. The Board approves forms, documents, applications, questionnaires, and examinations involved in the certification, recertification, or decertification process, and determines fees required of applicants and certified lawyers as prescribed by the Board. Further, the Board accredits courses and programs required to qualify for specialization. Applicants for initial certification must appear personally before the Board for an oral Interview and examination before they are approved as specialists in employment and labor law. This is Frank’s second term as Chair having previously served in that capacity from 2000 to 2002.
