Turner Padget Shareholder Elected President Of The South Carolina Bar Foundation

Turner Padget Graham & Laney P.A. is pleased to announce that Florence-based shareholder J. René Josey has been elected to serve as President of the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Bar Foundation for the 2018 fiscal year.

Josey is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation team, and has been named as a South Carolina Super Lawyer in the area of Business Litigation and to the list of Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Appellate Law, White Collar and Non-White Collar Crime. He was recently awarded the “Lawyer of the Year” by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly for leadership in law for 2017.

The Bar Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the South Carolina Bar. Its mission is to advance justice by improving access to the justice system, especially for those unable to afford civil legal services, and through public education and accountability.
