Chris Siercks is an Associate at Turner Padget. Chris graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2020, where he served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and competed on the school’s mock trial team.

In addition to his studies and extracurriculars, Chris worked as a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office, the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office, and the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate on Fort Jackson. After graduation, Chris worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Walton J. McLeod, IV.
 
Chris’s lifelong commitment to service led him to join the United States Marine Corps in 2012, where he served as a platoon sergeant before attending law school. Through his service, Chris learned firsthand the importance of teamwork, integrity, and dependability. It was these principles that led Chris to a career in law.  
 
His commitment to excellence has shone throughout his professional career. 
  • Assisted veterans in need of legal representation in a variety of civil and administrative matters, including disability claims and filings in family court.
  • Conducted legal research and prepared documents to aid Assistant United States Attorneys in preparation for civil trial.
  • Served as judicial law clerk, researching complex legal issues, and drafting orders for state court.
