Turner Padget is pleased to announce the addition of Christopher Siercks, associate, to the Litigation practice group in Columbia. Siercks joins the Insurance Industry Team to assist in handling matters in state and federal venues, at both the trial and appellate levels. He will also work to provide an effective defense in complex insurance litigation, lobbying the legislature on behalf of insurers and efficiently handling routine insurance coverage disputes.

Prior to attending law school, Sierck’s lifelong commitment to service led him to join the United States Marine Corps in 2012, where he served as a platoon sergeant. While at the University of South Carolina School of Law, Siercks served as vice president of the Student Bar Association and competed on the school’s mock trial team. He also worked as a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office, the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office and the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate on Fort Jackson. Prior to joining Turner Padget, Siercks was as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Walton J. McLeod, IV.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his law degree from University of South Carolina’s School of Law.
