Before joining Turner Padget, Cheslyne started her legal career at the Richland County Public Defender's Office.
During her time at the Public Defender's Office, Cheslyne learned true advocacy for her clients and gained valuable courtroom experience which allows her to fight tirelessly for those she represents.
Prior to her career in public service, she served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable William P. Keesley of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. Her experience as a judicial law clerk allows her the ability to see things from both sides in determining the best result.
Cheslyne has passion for her clients. Her practice is focused on representing individuals with professional licenses who are facing disciplinary action and she also litigates insurance matters. The belief that everyone deserves effective and top-tier representation is what motivates Cheslyne to do everything in her power to ensure a successful result for her client.
Cheslyne is extremely dedicated in her service to the South Carolina Bar and being a server of the community. She is the co-chair of the Diversity Committee and subcommittee co-chair of the Color of Justice Committee of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division. Additionally, she coaches middle school mock trial and is often interacting with young students and reiterating to them the importance of getting an education so that they can achieve their goals.
When not practicing law or providing service to the community, Cheslyne is usually spending time with her family in her hometown of Trenton, SC in Edgefield County or enjoying laughs with friends.
