Nick Skorzewski represents and advises employers and their insurers exclusively in workers’ compensation matters.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Nick gained ample experience working in a variety of employment sectors, including retail and manufacturing. Nick’s knowledge and experience in these sectors facilitated his interest to practice in this complex field of South Carolina law.
Nick recognizes that preparation, teamwork and communication are essential elements to effectively represent his clients’ interests. Nick’s goal is to always be the most prepared attorney in the room- regardless of whether he is engaging a deposition, mediation or hearing. Nick also prides himself on his ability to effectively communicate with all of his clients and understand their needs in order to produce the most efficient outcome possible. Nick doesn’t just consider himself an advisor and counselor to his clients; he engages them with a team-oriented approach to ensure claims are always resolved with their best interests in mind.
Nick grew up in Simpsonville, South Carolina but has lived in the midlands since attending the University of South Carolina for both undergraduate and law school. Nick is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Richland County Bar Associations. He is currently admitted to practice before all the South Carolina state courts, administrative agencies, and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. Nick currently resides with his wife in Irmo, SC. When he isn’t practicing law, he enjoys coastal and inland fishing, shooting sporting clays, and cheering for the South Carolina Gamecocks.
