Edward Henderson is a member of the Workplace Litigation and Liability Litigation practice groups.
He provides businesses with counseling on employment and labor issues and defends their employment practices against a variety of claims. Edward also devotes a significant amount of his practice to defending motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury lawsuits.
In his employment practice, Edward has experience working on cases brought pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. While his practice is concentrated on employment and personal injury defense issues, Edward has experience in several diverse areas of litigation. He has represented clients in matters involving professional negligence, business litigation, insurance fraud, and qui tam claims under the False Claims Act.
Edward understands his clients’ visions, and he works diligently to see their goals fulfilled and needs met. The well-rounded nature of his practice enables him to better do both. Prior to joining Turner Padget, Edward clerked for a Resident Circuit Court Judge in South Carolina’s Fourth Judicial Circuit and worked at a general practice law firm in Bennettsville. He also spent four years in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Captain.
