Sam Priddy practices in the personal injury insurance defense practice group.

After graduating from law school, Sam returned to Turner Padget and worked exclusively in the workers’ compensation practice group prior to transitioning to the litigation defense team. While practicing workers’ compensation defense, Sam represented insurance companies and employers.

Through his defense of both employers and individuals, Sam has conducted many depositions, mediations, and hearings. His experience allows him to properly advise his clients from the beginning phases of litigation until the resolution.

Sam is a detailed-oriented attorney. He believes that a team approach works best to provide the most comprehensive client approach. Sam works well within his team as well as other teams within the firm. This teamwork allows Sam to assure that he is able to provide the most complete advice for his clients.

Sam believes that excellence begins with learning what outcome his client desires. He believes that being attentive to the client is paramount in formulating a plan and striving to achieve that goal.

  • Defended a company as co-counsel against a $400,000 claim by the personal representative of an estate on behalf of an employee who passed away at work. As part of the legal defense team, they successfully defended the claim for death benefits in front of both the single commissioner and the full commission.
  • Served as local counsel for a large car manufacturer in a products liability defense from the filing of the lawsuit though mediation, which led to a reasonable settlement.
