Will Oncken is part of Turner Padget’s Employment & Workers’ Compensation Group. His practice primarily focuses on employment law, labor law, and workers’ compensation defense.
Will approaches legal matters with a unique perspective. After graduating with his J.D. and Master of Human Resources degrees, he worked as a human resources professional with a large Fortune 500 manufacturing company and helped deal with local union issues, employee relations issues, and recruiting initiatives. He then moved on and began his legal career as a plaintiff’s and claimant’s attorney at a leading civil litigation firm handling workers’ compensation claims and personal injury cases. He has also served in the military on a part-time basis since 2012.
Will believes that the keys to successfully handling a case are based on a thorough understanding of his client’s business strategy and needs, thinking about solutions that strategically align with the client’s business strategy and needs, and executing that strategic solution with a straight-forward and efficient plan.
