Morgan M. Murphy

Morgan Murphy practices out of Turner Padget's Charleston office where she provides effective defense counsel to employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout South Carolina.

Morgan graduated from Charleston School of Law in May of 2023 where she served on the executive boards of several student organizations. She served as Chief Justice of the Student Bar Association, Treasurer of Maritime Law Society, and Associate Justice of Moot Court Board where she competed internationally in Vienna, Austria on the William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Competition team. Morgan was a student representative on the school's faculty board, BARBRI student ambassador, and active member on the Executive Leadership Counsel.

Prior to attending law school, Morgan graduated from The University of Texas at Austin where she received her degree in History and played midfield for the women's soccer team. She prides herself on carrying over the discipline, commitment, and work ethic she developed as a Division I student-athlete into her practice as an attorney.

Outside of the office, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her Texas Longhorns, and walking Charleston's beaches.
