Prior to joining Turner Padget, Ross served as law clerk to the Hon. Sherri Lydon, United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, and to The Hon. D. Craig Brown, South Carolina Circuit Court Judge in Florence, South Carolina.

At the University of South Carolina School of Law, Ross was active with the ABA’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Section, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal. He was an editor for the South Carolina Bar’s Foreclosure Law Manual, 4th edition. Before attending law school, Ross was a middle school teacher for four years in Little Rock, Arkansas and the greater Columbia, South Carolina area. As an educator, Ross developed valuable skills communicating and learning to connect with people from a range of backgrounds.

He currently serves as a member of Turner Padget’s Insurance Litigation team where he focuses on defending insurance matters in the firm’s Charleston office. He also serves on the Real Estate team where he handles landlord tenant disputes. Ross draws on his experiences from the classroom to the courtroom to deliver excellent results for his clients.
