Turner Padget Expands With Two New Associates In Charleston

Turner Padget is pleased to announce the addition of Associates Hunter A. Morgan and Ross Scarborough to the firm’s Charleston office. Both Morgan and Scarborough will be joining the firm’s Litigation practice with broad focus areas.

Hunter Morgan
Morgan will focus his practice on defending physicians, physician practices, long-term care facilities, hospitals and other health professionals in medical malpractice litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Morgan was as an associate attorney at a South Carolina-based law firm, where he served as outside litigation counsel for local and national hospital systems. He also worked as a law clerk, specifically involved in healthcare, insurance defense, business litigation and commercial practice groups.

Morgan earned his undergraduate degree from the Virginia Military Institute and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Ross Scarborough
Scarborough will focus his practice on licensing disputes, economic development incentives and mergers and acquisitions. He previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Sherri Lydon, United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the Honorable D. Craig Brown, South Carolina Circuit Court. While in law school, Scarborough was the editor-in-chief of the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal and was a member of the Mock Trial Team.

Scarborough earned his undergraduate degree from the University of the South and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
