Turner Padget Elects New Shareholders

Turner Padget Graham & Laney, P.A. announces that Columbia-based James “Jamey” H. Goldin and Charleston-based William “Billy” J. Horvath have been elected shareholders of the firm. Goldin practices in the area governmental affairs as well as litigation and Horvath is a member of the firm’s litigation practice.

“Jamey and Billy’s exemplary commitment to client-service, our firm and the legal profession make them accomplished additions to our shareholder ranks,” said C. Pierce Campbell, chief executive officer of Turner Padget. “Their leadership in the firm is demonstrated by their ongoing support to help us develop our associates. We are pleased to announce these well-deserved elevations.”

Goldin provides counsel to insurance, energy, utility, education, and local government clients. He represents clients before the South Carolina Supreme Court, other levels of state and federal trial and appellate courts, the South Carolina Department of Insurance, the South Carolina Public Service Commission, and as a registered lobbyist before the South Carolina General Assembly.

Goldin earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia.

Horvath defends individuals and businesses in both state and federal court in all phases of litigation in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, construction defects, and commercial disputes. He has served as lead counsel on numerous jury trials and obtained favorable verdicts.

Horvath earned his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University.
