Overview

Turner Padget’s domestic law attorneys serve their clients with unexcelled legal representation in a wide range of domestic matters. Family law matters handled by the firm include contested and uncontested divorce actions (civilian and military), child custody disputes and modifications, child support modifications, termination of parental rights, legitimation actions, dependency actions, family violence protective orders, stalking protective orders, and adoptions. Both Jennifer and Jacki practice in the state’s superior and juvenile courts.

Jacki and Jennifer are dedicated to ensuring that each client achieves the best possible result. They understand the emotional and financial difficulties that often accompany domestic cases and work tirelessly to help individuals handle difficult family situations through court proceedings.

Jennifer’s vast knowledge of real estate law allows her to navigate complicated property issues in divorce cases. She is able to combine her domestic and real estate law knowledge to assist clients in property issues that often accompany divorce actions.

Jacki specializes in adoption law and has experience with step-parent adoptions, third party adoptions, relative adoptions, DFCS adoptions, foreign adoptions, and adult adoptions. Georgia’s Adoption Code was updated in 2018 and Jacki presented at the 2018 Augusta Bar Association Family Law Seminar on helping attorneys successfully navigate the changes made to the Code.
