Forbes Names Shareholder David Cobb to Best-in-State Lawyers List 2025 for South Carolina

Turner Padget is proud to share that shareholder David Cobb has been named to the inaugural Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Lawyers, an honor that highlights the top legal talent across the country.

David Cobb, an attorney at the firm for over 30 years, has a proven record of complex litigation experience, successfully defending clients in construction defect claims, personal injury lawsuits, and insurance coverage matters. David has tried numerous jury cases to verdict in state and federal courts and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He is also a certified South Carolina state court mediator.

To create the list of America’s Best-In-State Lawyers, Forbes assembled an editorial team with experience in law practice, coverage of legal news, and knowledge of the legal marketplace. Candidates were identified through hundreds of interviews with industry insiders, outside nominations, editorial research, and an independent, advisory board of experts. Thousands of attorneys from a variety of backgrounds, specializations and jurisdictions were ultimately considered.
