Turner Padget Announces the Addition of Two New Attorneys

Turner Padget Graham & Laney, P.A. announces the addition of two new associates. Catherine Cunningham is based in Columbia and joins the firm’s Employment team and R. Edward Henderson, Jr. is based in Florence and joins the firm’s Professional Liability, Employment and Insurance Litigation teams.

“Catherine and Edward are talented attorneys and we are pleased to add them to our team,” said R. Wayne Byrd, chief executive officer of Turner Padget. “The clients we represent seek quality, value-driven legal counsel, and these additions strengthen our ability to respond promptly and effectively to those legal needs.”

Catherine received her Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University. After graduating, Catherine worked for three years as a litigation paralegal where she developed a strong interest and passion for the law. Catherine began working for Turner Padget as a summer associate while attending law school at the University of South Carolina. During law school, she served as a Research Editor for the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal.

Edward’s received his Bachelor’s degree from Wofford College and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Between his first and second year of law school, he earned a commission in the United States Marine Corps after attending Officer Candidate School. Edward remained in the reserve component while completing his degree.

After law school, Edward practiced law in Bennettsville before completing four years of service with the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. His diverse background provides a solid foundation for his practice.
