We are proud to share that David Cobb, Shareholder and Charleston Office Managing Partner, has become a Fellow of The American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in the United States and Canada.
Approximately 900 Fellows and guests from across North America gathered in Nashville, Tennessee to discuss issues important to the profession and to induct 88 new Fellows, including David Cobb. David Cobb, Shareholder and Charleston Office Managing Partner, has over 30 years of experience successfully defending construction defect claims, personal injury lawsuits, business litigation, and insurance coverage opinions.
He has tried numerous jury cases to verdict as the lead attorney in state and federal courts throughout South Carolina and has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. David is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and David also has been certified as a South Carolina state court mediator since 2004.
Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only and only after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds, who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality. Lawyers must have a minimum of fifteen years trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship.
