COLUMBIA, S.C. – August 18, 2026 – Turner Padget is pleased to announce that Columbia shareholder Lanny Lambert has been elected to another term on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Supreme Court Historical Society.

Lambert was elected during the Society’s annual meeting on August 10 held in the courtroom of the South Carolina Supreme Court in Columbia. He previously served as president of the Society three years ago and has remained actively involved in its work.

The South Carolina Supreme Court Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of South Carolina’s judicial system and the state’s Supreme Court. Through its programs and preservation efforts, the Society helps document and share the people, cases and traditions that have shaped South Carolina’s legal history.

Lambert’s continued service reflects his longstanding commitment to South Carolina’s legal profession and its history. His involvement with the Historical Society complements his legal practice and his broader commitment to serving the profession and community.

“I am honored to continue serving on the Board of the South Carolina Supreme Court Historical Society,” said Lambert. “The Society plays an important role in preserving the history and traditions of our state’s judiciary, and I look forward to continuing that work with my fellow board members.”

Lambert focuses his practice on commercial real estate finance and development, representing lenders and borrowers in matters involving financing, lending, land development and zoning. He also advises small and mid-sized businesses on contracts, leases and other business matters.
